Though we offer consulting services to the world, most of our business is conducted in California because we live in southern California.
Tree Life Consulting assesses and manages thousands of trees on properties throughout the southern region. We present easy to understand material, in a timely manner, because customer service is as important as an unbiased, expert opinion.
California is among the ten most biologically diverse regions in the world. This basically means there are more plants and animals, native and exotic, living in the Golden State than other places.
California has 20 out of the 24 climate zones defined by the Sunset Western Garden Book, and 16 of the 20 climate zones as defined by the USDA. The geography and size of the state allows a wide variety of trees to grow in its numerous ecosystems.
The biodiversity of the region requires a vast working knowledge. Our team has obtained the highest levels of recognition in the tree care industry, the Board Certified Master Arborist (BCMA) and Registered Consulting Arborist (RCA) designations. Relative few tree professionals take their careers to the highest level.
“Arborist” is a generic term used for tree specialist. A certified arborist is the entry-level accreditation available through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Fewer than 2% of all ISA certified arborists achieve the BCMA status. There are less than 700 active RCA’s in the United States.
Having increased our professional knowledge through the pursuit of learning, we are required to obtain twice as many continued education units as a certified arborist to maintain these advanced levels of accreditation.
The mission of Tree Life Consulting is to protect and enhance tree populations by avoiding unnecessary costs or potentially harmful treatments, thereby increasing their safe and useful life in the landscape.
Though Tree Life Consulting provides services to anyone in the world, we specialize in San Diego County, Orange County, and Riverside County.
